An Affair With Flair

The Annual Affair with Flair is the only fund raising event sponsored by the Junior League. This event is an evening filled with our “Recipe with Flair” competition, live entertainment, Chinese basket raffle and live auction. The “Recipe with Flair” competition hosts local restaurants cooking a recipe from one of the Junior League cookbooks with their own “flair.” The winning restaurant is chosen by popular vote and is advertised throughout the year in our cookbook. This year, the event will be held on Friday, March 12 from 6:30-11 p.m. at the Hellenic Center in Wheeling. Many local businesses have generously donated items for the Chinese basket raffle and live auction. Tickets to the event are $20 pre-sale or $25 at the door. All of the proceeds from this fundraiser benefit the Children of the Ohio Valley through our various projects.
